VFW Post 1503 has banquet Rooms for all occasions and group sizes,
For gatherings of less than 110 guests, B-Hall is recommended, For a group
of 110-200 A-Hall is suggested, and for large gatherings of 200 or greater the
full hall is required.
In addition to A&B Halls there is a smaller meeting room available for
gatherings of 25-40 people. This room is a private area separated from the
main halls and is normally used for Wedding Rehearsal Dinners, business
lunches/meetings and other events that require privacy from others.
For outside events, VFW Post 1503 has a covered pavilion that can
accommodate up to 200 people depending on the use. In addition to wedding
ceremonies, past use of the facilities have included company's picnics, fund
raising Bar-B-Qs, Crab/Shrimp Feasts.
For the members of Post 1503 there are additional facilities available
for their use within the confines of the Post Social Quarters. These
include private dining rooms, i.e., Fireplace Room, Chandler Room and the Party
Room.
MENU SELECTION - A Menu selection must be completed no later than 30 days
prior to the scheduled event with an estimate of the number of people attending.
Your final attendance must be guaranteed 14 days prior to the event.
MENU DEPOSIT - At the time of menu selection a 50% deposit is required.
When the final attendance count has been established (14 days prior to the
event) the balance due must be paid.
POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CHARGES - For Parties of 25 guests or less there is a
$25.00 additional charge. Carver/Attendant $75.00 charge will apply.
There may be an additional labor charge for any extensive set-ups requested for
the function.
ROOM/TABLE DECORATIONS - No decorations are to be hung from the ceiling
or walls. Talk to our Banquet Manager about what types of decorations are
best suited for your occasion. You may use our table center pieces or
provide your own.
