THE LIFE OF A SOLDIER

The life of a soldier is viewed through his walk

his body is erect

each step is perfectly ordered

one foot placed directly in front of the other

He forever looks forward

from his hair down to his shoes

he is poignantly sculptured

he is the embodiment of the professional soldier

He must be serene

must always look ahead

for each day presents new challenges

and the life of a soldier must continue to go on.
